How to make money from adsense is the one question that interests me the most.  I have a feeling that we may have to spend more in terms of advertising to get the adsense results right.  Any reflections on my comment?

I understand your plight. But you know the major problem people have with adsense is not just traffic but low keywords. I mean, if you have a log about MAKE MONEY ONLINE for example, you should expect google to pay you between $0.01 and $0.05 because advertisers pay less. But if you target high paying keywords that advertisers pay as high as $30 per click, google can pay you $10 or more. I hope that is helpful for you.
